Training levels available

Please refer to FAQS for more detailed descriptions:

  • Kindergarten Puppy Training (puppies 9 weeks to 4 months - Puppy MUST have had 2 parvo shots before attending class). Exciting new AKC program for puppies, owners train their pups to be stars. PFOC is administrating a new American Kennel Club (AKC) training program geared towards puppies and their owners. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program rewards responsible pwners who take the time to train and socialize their new puppies. S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner, all of the things a puppy needs to have a good life. Click above or here for link to AKC Star Website.
  • Puppy Beginning Obedience (puppies approx.  4  to  6 months)
  • Young Adult Beginning Obedience (puppies  approx. 7 to 10 months) 
  • Adult Beginning (Dogs over 10 months) 
  • Advanced Beginning I (Follows the Basic Beginning Class)
  • Advanced Beginning II (Fine Tunes exercises learned in Advanced Beginning I)
  • Pre-Novice (First steps to preparation for showing your dog)
  • Novice (Step two in preparation for showing your dog)
  • Upper Level Show Training for Obedience (Open & Utility)
  • Conformation Show Training
  • Rally Show Training - Requires prior completion of a beginning obedience class

PFOC offers Tracking Training - The classes are from October to April. The next set of classes will begin in October 2009. For information on tracking instruction times, events and fees please contact:

Obedience, Rally, and Conformation Classes are offered.
Classes are held outdoors.
Please check back to verify starting dates as they may change if classes are postponed due  to weather conditions.

NOTE:  ACKNOWLDGEMENTS FOR CLASS ACCEPTANCE WILL BE SENT ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE CLASSES BEGIN.  PLEASE DO NOT BE CONCERNED IF YOU DO NOT HEAR ANYTHING UNTIL THEN.  THANK YOU. PFOC.

Class Times: 7:00 - 8:00 pm and/or  8:15 - 9:15 pm

OPEN (One class only):  8:15 - 9:15 pm
UTILITY (One class only): 7:00 - 8:00 pm
RALLY (One class only) - Requires Prior Completion of a beginning
obedience class):
 8:15 - 9:15 pm

Cost for a  6 week session is $40.00.

Registering for classes does not guarantee a placement. 

Class sizes are limited and if the class is filled your name will be placed on a waiting list. 

Class assignments are on a first come, first serve, basis.

If entering using the forms from the web site, the form MUST be RECEIVED ONE WEEK PRIOR to the start of classes.  If there is less than one week left CALL the PHONE LINE.

  2. PRINT OUT REGISTRATION FORM FOR APPROPRIATE LOCATION
  3. MAKE YOUR CHECK FOR $40.00 OUT TO PFOC
  4. SEND COMPLETED FORM AND CHECK TO APPROPRIATE ADDRESS
  5. BE SURE TO GET YOUR FORM AND CHECK IN ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASSES
  6. ENJOY YOUR DOG AND HAVE FUN AT CLASSES!
